Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement MLOps frameworks, standards, best practices, and reusable workflows with IT and data science teams.
  • Deploy and operationalize machine learning, statistical, and other data-driven models within the PD Model Hub.
  • Build end-to-end lifecycle processes for model validation, deployment, monitoring, retraining, versioning, continuous improvement, and retirement.
  • Design model sustainability approaches for discoverability, reproducibility, governance, lineage, metadata capture, and reuse.
  • Develop observability, alerting, and remediation strategies for model performance, data drift, model drift, and infrastructure health.
  • Translate scientific and technical needs into scalable platform capabilities, standards, and adoption roadmaps while aligning cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor-level degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of industry experience with MLOps practices, including versioning, governance, experiment tracking, model registries, observability, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, AWS, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Lakehouse Monitoring, and Evidently AI.
  • Strong expertise in Python and PySpark, with knowledge of machine learning using scikit-learn and PyTorch.
  • Hands-on experience analyzing data drift and model drift, including baseline design, metric selection, thresholding, root-cause analysis, and remediation decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying, operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machine learning solutions across multiple lifecycle stages.
  • Ability to develop scalable platform capabilities and communicate effectively with scientists, engineers, product teams, and governance partners.
  • Preferred qualifications include knowledge of model risk management, validation, change control, data integrity, privacy, security, responsible AI, GenAI, AI agents, LLM-powered workflows, evaluation frameworks, and human-in-the-loop controls.
