Responsibilities

Build and maintain human data labeling, evaluation, and metrics platforms used by research teams.
Develop reliable and scalable backend services for core production workflows and managed services.
Build professional editor and UI tools, including Rust-based systems with deep underlying platform integration.
Design and operate production systems end to end, including workflow engines, task systems, and data pipelines.
Switch between developing new tools and hardening the infrastructure beneath them, while taking ownership of projects and outcomes.

Strong backend engineering experience with a full-stack focus on designing UI systems.
Experience shipping and running production systems end to end.
Experience making systems reliable and scalable, including internal platforms, workflow or task engines, or data pipelines.
Comfort working across new tools or editors and the underlying platform infrastructure.
Preferred experience with functional programming languages such as Rust.
Preferred experience building editor or UI-heavy professional tools, data labeling or annotation platforms, or managing crowdsourced workforces.

Remote-first work from anywhere in Europe and the US East Coast, with operation required across GMT-5 to GMT+1 time zones.
