Responsibilities
- Design and implement order orchestration workflows on the Fluent Commerce platform.
- Develop custom rules in Java using the Fluent SDK.
- Build and consume the platform's GraphQL API.
- Build and extend user interfaces with the OMX UX Framework.
- Integrate Fluent Commerce with surrounding systems using event-driven patterns.
- Configure inventory and sourcing logic.
- Write automated tests for rules and workflows.
- Package and deploy solutions as modules/plugins across environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and diagnose stuck orders.
- Contribute to technical design, code reviews, and documentation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong core Java skills.
- Hands-on experience with Fluent Commerce and the Fluent SDK.
- Solid GraphQL experience and comfort with REST, JSON, and API design.
- Understanding of event-driven and asynchronous architectures.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems through APIs and middleware.
- Familiarity with cloud (AWS preferred), Git-based version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication in English.
