Responsibilities
- Provide architectural reviews and technical guidance to Support for Mission Critical customers.
- Own technical deliverables end to end and align solutions with customer outcomes and Microsoft best practices.
- Identify architectural risks, design gaps, and operational inefficiencies across services.
- Conduct proactive engagements and deep technical assessments to improve incident prevention and workload health.
- Collaborate with Microsoft engineering and support teams on escalations, feedback, and platform evolution.
- Create reusable scripts, tools, and technical documentation for scalable customer engagements.
- Advise customer architects and engineers on stability, resilience, innovation, and long-term technical strategy.
- Mentor and upskill others, lead cross-functional collaboration, and contribute to frameworks, methodologies, and intellectual property.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field and 4+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure technologies, IT consulting or support, systems administration, network operations, software development or support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, or consulting, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 10+ years of experience with cloud data platforms, especially Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory, Azure AI services, Cognitive Services, and OpenAI in secure environments.
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL pipelines, real-time data processing, data engineering, data science workflows, and ML model deployment using Azure tools.
- Experience designing and implementing end-to-end AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments.
- Understanding of distributed computing, big data processing, data lake architectures, Azure IaaS, PaaS, serverless components, networking, security, and resilience.
- Familiarity with Cosmos DB and SQL Server is helpful.
- Ability to use debugging tools, trace analysis, and source code to troubleshoot and optimize performance.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, learning, and presentation skills, including comfort addressing small and large audiences.
