Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain security controls for AI-enabled applications, agentic workflows, intelligent automation solutions, and AI platforms.
- Securely integrate AI services, APIs, orchestration frameworks, and external tool connections.
- Configure and validate identity, access, secrets management, logging, monitoring, and deployment safeguards.
- Participate in security architecture reviews, threat modeling, AI security assessments, adversarial testing, misuse-case analysis, vulnerability assessments, and deployment readiness reviews.
- Build monitoring, alerting, and detection capabilities for suspicious prompts, unusual workflow behavior, unauthorized access, and policy violations.
- Analyze telemetry and support investigations and remediation of AI-related security events.
- Partner with engineering, platform, product, architecture, and cybersecurity teams to implement security requirements and remediate findings.
- Develop security documentation, implementation guides, runbooks, operational procedures, and automation improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
- Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat modeling, security testing, penetration testing, and complex information security technologies.
- Experience with software development lifecycle security practices and implementing security controls.
- Understanding of AI and LLM security risks, including prompt injection, jailbreaks, sensitive data exposure, tool-use risks, model misuse, and output handling.
- Knowledge of cloud-native security, access control, identity management, secrets handling, secure integration design, monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
- Familiarity with no-code, low-code, and pro-code AI development environments.
- Preferred experience includes application security, cloud security, DevSecOps, software engineering, enterprise applications, APIs, cloud-native solutions, distributed systems, vulnerability management, and threat modeling.
- Preferred experience includes generative AI, AI-enabled applications, agentic systems, intelligent automation, Microsoft Azure security services, Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, AWS, and Amazon Bedrock.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with RAG, vector databases, agent orchestration frameworks, AI workflow platforms, regulated industries, governance or compliance environments, and certifications such as Security+, Azure Security Engineer Associate, AWS Security Specialty, CISSP Associate, or GIAC certifications.
