Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain security controls for AI-enabled applications, agentic workflows, intelligent automation solutions, and AI platforms.
- Securely integrate AI services, APIs, orchestration frameworks, and external tool connections.
- Configure and validate identity, access, secrets management, logging, monitoring, and deployment safeguards.
- Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modeling, AI security assessments, vulnerability assessments, adversarial testing, and deployment-readiness reviews.
- Build monitoring, alerting, and detection capabilities for suspicious prompts, unusual workflow behavior, unauthorized access, and policy violations.
- Partner with software engineering, platform, product, architecture, and cybersecurity teams on secure implementations and remediation.
- Document findings, recommendations, remediation activities, validation results, implementation guides, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Support automation and continuous improvement of AI security controls, testing practices, monitoring, and implementation standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
- Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing.
- Experience with software development lifecycle security practices and complex information security technologies.
- Understanding of AI and LLM security concepts including prompt injection, jailbreaks, sensitive data exposure, tool-use risks, model misuse, and output handling.
- Knowledge of cloud-native security, access control, identity management, secrets handling, secure integration design, monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
- Familiarity with no-code, low-code, and pro-code development environments and AI-enabled applications or generative AI solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience with enterprise applications, APIs, cloud-native solutions, distributed systems, security reviews, vulnerability management, threat modeling, and remediation.
- Preferred experience with Azure security services, Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, AWS, Amazon Bedrock, RAG, vector databases, agent orchestration frameworks, and AI workflow platforms.
- Preferred experience in regulated industries or governance, compliance, and audit-driven technology environments.
- Industry certifications such as Security+, Azure Security Engineer Associate, AWS Security Specialty, CISSP Associate, or GIAC certifications are preferred.
