Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, enhance, and support the Vendor IAM platform across ForgeRock AM, IDM, DS, and IG.
  • Configure and troubleshoot authentication journeys, realms, applications, identity stores, policies, scripts, integrations, and application access patterns.
  • Develop identity lifecycle workflows, managed objects, connectors, provisioning, synchronization, reconciliation processes, REST APIs, and automated integrations.
  • Implement and troubleshoot OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, LDAP, TLS/SSL, SSO, federation, MFA, token management, and session management solutions.
  • Investigate complex production issues across IAM platforms, applications, Linux/Unix, networks, directories, certificates, APIs, and infrastructure.
  • Improve platform stability, resiliency, performance, capacity, observability, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and operational maturity.
  • Develop automation, reusable tooling, scripts, deployment processes, and configuration-as-code or infrastructure-as-code solutions.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, source control, peer review, and controlled configuration promotion across environments.
  • Contribute to cloud and SaaS identity modernization, migration planning, API gateway integrations, and emerging identity capabilities.
  • Provide technical leadership, design review, mentoring, incident leadership, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement where applicable.
  • At least 5 years of experience in technology system support, software development, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience with information security applications and systems.
  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing, engineering, or supporting enterprise IAM platforms, including ForgeRock or comparable technologies.
  • Experience with enterprise authentication, authorization, federation, directory services, protocols, scripting, automation, APIs, and platform integrations.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex production issues across application, IAM, Linux/Unix, network, directory, and integration layers.
  • Experience supporting highly available business-critical platforms and using logs, monitoring, telemetry, and diagnostic tools.
  • Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, ForgeRock or Ping Identity certification, ForgeRock platform expertise, cloud and container experience, CI/CD, API security, certificate and key management, infrastructure-as-code, platform modernization, and technical leadership.
  • Preferred experience includes DevOps, secure application or platform development, ITIL, source-code control, technical documentation, defect or incident tracking, performance testing, capacity planning, vulnerability remediation, and multi-data-center IAM operations.
