Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, well-engineered software with strong architectural awareness.
  • Own solutions end to end, from concept through delivery.
  • Build and improve trading systems, modeling capabilities, simulation and back-testing frameworks, and research tooling.
  • Optimize trading and research systems for performance, scalability, and new capabilities.
  • Support productionization and large-scale distributed training of machine-learning models.
  • Identify scalable improvements, evaluate emerging technologies, and drive their adoption.
  • Prioritize work for measurable business impact and communicate effectively with varied audiences.
  • Collaborate with quantitative researchers and stakeholders across the business.

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software fundamentals.
  • Interest in quantitative finance and the role of engineering within it.
  • Ability to make sound judgments, balance competing approaches, and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, adapt communication style, understand others’ needs, and build strong working relationships.
