Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, well-engineered software with strong architectural awareness.
- Own solutions end to end, from concept through delivery.
- Build and improve trading systems, modeling capabilities, simulation and back-testing frameworks, and research tooling.
- Optimize trading and research systems for performance, scalability, and new capabilities.
- Support productionization and large-scale distributed training of machine-learning models.
- Identify scalable improvements, evaluate emerging technologies, and drive their adoption.
- Prioritize work for measurable business impact and communicate effectively with varied audiences.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers and stakeholders across the business.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software fundamentals.
- Interest in quantitative finance and the role of engineering within it.
- Ability to make sound judgments, balance competing approaches, and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to communicate clearly, adapt communication style, understand others’ needs, and build strong working relationships.
