Responsibilities

  • Build a machine learning platform managing feature engineering, model training, versioning, deployment, online serving and evaluation, and prediction-quality monitoring.
  • Identify and generate reusable features for multiple use cases and models.
  • Train and evaluate models for batch and real-time prediction using decision trees, logistic regression, neural networks, Bayesian analysis, and other techniques.
  • Debug low-level systems, measure performance, and optimize large production clusters.
  • Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to deliver solutions.
  • Keep current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in computer science, statistics, or a related field.
  • Five years of experience applying machine learning to real-world use cases.
  • Proficient coding and software development skills in Spark, Python, or Java.
  • Familiarity with real-time model evaluation under low-latency constraints.
  • Familiarity with distributed machine learning frameworks such as Spark-MLlib and TensorFlow.
  • Experience with large-scale computing frameworks, data analysis systems, and modeling environments such as Spark and Hive.
  • Experience with NoSQL stores such as Aerospike and ScyllaDB.
  • Ad tech experience is preferred.
  • Proficient use of AI tools and agentic coding practices.
