Base Salary
$143k - $271k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI systems including GenAI agents, predictive ML, retrieval and reasoning systems, agent frameworks, tool calling, multi-agent workflows, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Develop AI/ML solutions and evaluation frameworks over large-scale structured and unstructured enterprise data.
- Own solutions end-to-end from architecture and experimentation through implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with product managers and business collaborators to integrate AI capabilities into sales and marketing workflows.
- Prototype emerging AI opportunities and turn them into differentiated, production-ready capabilities.
Requirements
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience building and deploying machine learning, GenAI, NLP, retrieval, or related AI systems.
- Strong understanding of LLM and agentic AI technologies including RAG, tool or function calling, reasoning, evaluation, and context management.
- Strong foundation in machine learning, predictive modeling, statistics, and large-scale structured and unstructured data.
- Strong software engineering skills in Python, data structures and algorithms, system design, testing, code quality, and production debugging.
- Experience building production AI/ML services with PyTorch, REST APIs, Docker, data or orchestration pipelines, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Experience designing scalable, reliable AI systems and evaluating quality, latency, cost, and operational performance.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Benefits
- U.S. base pay range of $142,700-$270,950 annually, varying by geographic market, location, skills, and experience.
- California base pay range of $187,100-$270,950.
