Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end SAP solution architecture covering functional, technical, integration, data, security, and operational aspects.
- Define target-state and transition architectures aligned with business capabilities and transformation objectives.
- Lead architecture decisions across SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, and hybrid landscapes.
- Chair or participate in design authorities and architecture review boards, establishing guardrails, standards, and governance.
- Manage design risks, technical debt, deviations, customizations, and stakeholder sign-off.
- Translate business requirements into SAP solutions and provide architectural guidance to senior stakeholders.
- Support pre-sales, bids, discovery, solution options, estimates, and high-level designs.
- Define integration, data migration, and extensibility strategies using SAP Integration Suite and SAP BTP.
- Provide architectural oversight through Explore, Realise, Deploy, and Hypercare phases.
- Lead virtual cross-functional teams, resolve design issues, support operational readiness, and coach and develop colleagues.
Requirements
- A third-level qualification in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 15 years of experience as an SAP Solution Architect on large-scale SAP programs.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, with exposure to Finance, Supply Chain, or industry-specific solutions.
- Experience with SAP BTP, Integration Suite, Cloud ALM or Solution Manager, and modern integration patterns.
- Understanding of SAP security, roles and authorisations, data architecture, and analytics architecture.
- Proven ability to design and govern complex, multi-system SAP landscapes across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and solution governance models.
- Ability to lead virtual, cross-functional teams in global delivery models and manage client relationships.
- Strategic thinking, business translation skills, commercial awareness, project management ability, and strong written and verbal communication.
- SAP Solution Architect, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, RISE with SAP, TOGAF, Azure, or AWS certifications are advantageous.
