Responsibilities
- Own architecture for complex enterprise-scale programmes from target-state definition through transition architecture and delivery oversight.
- Define architecture decisions, trade-offs, risks, dependencies, reference architectures, blueprints, and Architecture Decision Records.
- Lead architecture reviews, governance forums, workshops, design sessions, and executive briefings.
- Serve as the primary technical interface for client stakeholders and support technology strategy and roadmaps.
- Advise on platform selection, integration patterns, cloud infrastructure, and security architecture.
- Lead, mentor, and develop technical leads and senior engineers while maintaining engineering and architecture standards.
- Support delivery teams in translating architectural designs into implementable solutions.
- Contribute to Accenture’s architecture practice through hiring, training, and capability development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent, with significant experience accepted in lieu of formal qualification.
- Deep commercial experience in technical or solution architecture with end-to-end ownership of complex, multi-workstream programmes.
- Deep hands-on expertise in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns, distributed system design, data architecture, and security architecture principles.
- Experience in client-facing advisory work and presenting to senior audiences.
- Demonstrated people leadership through mentoring, design reviews, and team capability development.
- Experience using AI-enabled development tooling and demonstrating impact on delivery velocity, quality, or design quality.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and modern delivery practices.
- Desirable experience in AI-enabled solutions, LLM integrations, agentic workflows, mobile architecture across iOS and Android, or cloud and AI certifications.
