Base Salary
$98k - $147k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Design and develop Capture components for business-document capture, processing, and recognition.
- Own end-to-end design, development, validation, test automation, deployment, and production support.
- Work with Quality Development to review test plans and test cases.
- Provide technical guidance for major software initiatives, technology standardization, and modernization.
- Provide technical team leadership by distributing tasks, tracking progress, assessing technical risk, solving problems, and reporting status.
- Perform assigned work with minimal supervision.
- Debug issues and respond to bug reports and client escalations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of enterprise software development experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience using Microsoft development environments and tools.
- Expert-level C# development with modern .NET, including .NET 8/9/10+.
- Strong knowledge of Windows internals, native interop, P/Invoke, COM, 32-bit versus 64-bit constraints, and third-party native SDK integration.
- Understanding of cross-platform .NET constraints, Windows-only APIs, Linux limitations, and portable alternatives.
- Proficiency with MSBuild, SDK-style projects, multi-targeting, NuGet package authoring, and dependency management.
- Experience with Docker, containerization, Kubernetes or related orchestration software, and Helm.
- Experience with Visual Studio Code and the C# Dev Kit or another Linux-based IDE, plus the GNU Compiler family or alternatives.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong background in client/server architecture, microservices, distributed systems, data structures, operating systems, multithreading, and performance optimization.
- Expertise in design patterns and object-oriented principles.
- Strong debugging, triage, and technical issue resolution skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred experience with Angular 10 or newer, InstallShield, WiX, and GitLab.
