Responsibilities
- Resolve complex, high-impact customer issues and escalations across cross-functional engineering, product, support, and field organizations.
- Conduct health checks, impact analysis, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and solution lifecycle management for Azure environments.
- Guide customers in designing configurations, deploying solutions, and adopting new versions on Microsoft platforms.
- Analyze customer telemetry, defect patterns, usage signals, and feedback to identify product and knowledge gaps.
- Advocate for customer needs and drive product, service reliability, troubleshooting guide, and support improvements.
- Communicate technical issues, progress, recommendations, and next steps to customers, partners, and varied stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of demonstrated IT experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise-level, mission-critical applications and resolving complex issues across cross-functional organizations.
- 6+ years of experience in an external customer- or client-facing role.
- 3+ years of experience working with cloud computing technologies.
- Experience with cloud computing technologies, including Azure compute, storage, networking, high availability, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Experience with Azure data and platform services, including SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, HDInsight/Hadoop, machine learning, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Cosmos DB, Redis Cache, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Cloud Services, IoT Suite, and Mobile Apps.
- Ability to explain highly technical issues to varied audiences, empathize with customers, prioritize customer needs, and own resolution.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
