Responsibilities
- Partner with analysts and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, assess feasibility, and define automation solutions through interviews, workshops, and meetings.
- Design, develop, document, and deploy end-to-end automation solutions according to team standards and best practices.
- Create architecture, design, test-procedure, and test-scenario documentation.
- Conduct development validations and support integration testing, end-to-end business-process testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Support business-as-usual teams with troubleshooting, defect tracking, error resolution, and day-to-day automation issues.
- Participate in QA, audit, platform migration, risk mitigation, and issue-reporting activities.
- Analyze business and technical information, make recommendations, and communicate findings and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
- Support and train more junior team members while managing development and testing work across multiple applications.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of programming experience with systems and applications of varying scope and complexity, preferably involving finance and supply-chain processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a similar related field.
- Experience with Python, PySpark, TypeScript/JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively and sometimes serve as the lead technical participant.
- Ability to handle complex assignments and assume increasing responsibility.
- Preferred experience with microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, APIs, SAP, Microsoft Fabric, PySpark notebooks, Delta Lake/OneLake, Power BI, SharePoint Online, and GenAI platforms such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
- Preferred experience analyzing, debugging, and refactoring legacy code and applying statistical, data-quality, or anomaly-detection techniques.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, workflow-analysis, prioritization, communication, and organizational skills.
