Responsibilities
- Collaborate in a triad with Data Science and Data Analytics teams to define problems, solutions, and priorities.
- Analyze, develop, and maintain highly efficient, reliable, and scalable services.
- Ensure the technical quality of developments with an end-to-end perspective.
- Minimize the operational cost of production solutions.
- Ensure system stability and observability by creating alerts and participating in war rooms when necessary.
- Develop expertise in streaming, batch processing, and feature stores from a strong software foundation.
Requirements
- Solid experience developing high-scale backend systems with Java.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and asynchronous integration patterns using Kafka.
- Experience with concurrency and distributed parallelism.
- Experience with analytical databases such as BigQuery and end-to-end solution design.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and/or MySQL and non-relational key-value databases.
- Practical experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar tools for code writing, test generation and review, debugging, and documentation.
