Base Salary
$104k - $166k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and execute verification and validation test protocols for field-service software.
- Support design requirements and formal design documentation.
- Run software evaluation labs using da Vinci hardware to assess features and diagnostic tools.
- Document testing activity, results, user experience, and feature performance.
- Log issues, collaborate with software and cross-functional teams to debug problems, and provide feedback on feature design.
- Learn, monitor, execute, and troubleshoot the software build process while understanding hardware-software communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree required, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- At least 3 years of software testing experience.
- Experience testing embedded software at the unit, integration, or system level.
- Strong engineering, software quality assurance, or software testing background with hands-on engineering experience.
- Experience writing and understanding technical specifications and designing software for testability.
- Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, initiative, ownership, organization, and ability to work with limited supervision.
- Preferred experience with documentation control systems, ACCS, Polarion ALM, software debugging, test automation and application-code reviews, and Linux.
