Responsibilities
- Create detailed test plans covering system functionality and edge cases.
- Develop robust, repeatable automated testing solutions using Python and Swift.
- Execute manual and automated tests across varied hardware and software configurations.
- Test applications that interface with firmware, low-level software drivers, and data-processing pipelines.
- Identify weaknesses, investigate bugs, report results, and drive issues to closure.
- Document test cases and test-execution code while tracking performance.
- Build creative tools, fixtures, and methodologies to stress software features.
- Collaborate with development teams, QE engineers, development partners, and program managers throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software or application testing experience.
- Strong Python proficiency and test automation experience.
- Experience with Swift programming and iOS test automation using the Xcode UI automation framework.
- Experience authoring comprehensive test plans and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure test coverage.
- Preferred experience with AI-powered development tools, test frameworks, UI/UX design or testing, continuous integration and scheduling systems, and consumer product development.
