Responsibilities
- Create detailed test plans covering system functionality and edge cases.
- Develop robust, repeatable automated testing solutions using Python and test automation.
- Execute manual and automated tests across varied hardware and software configurations.
- Test applications interfacing with firmware, low-level software drivers, and data processing pipelines.
- Partner with developers and other quality engineers to understand applications, identify weaknesses, resolve bugs, and ensure complete test coverage.
- Document test cases and test execution code, track performance, report results to management, and drive issues to closure.
- Build creative tools, fixtures, and testing methodologies to stress software features.
- Contribute to quality throughout the project lifecycle and continuously improve testing methods.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least two years of software or application testing experience with strong Python and test automation experience.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring complete test coverage.
- Preferred experience with Swift programming and iOS test automation using the Xcode UI automation framework.
- Preferred experience using AI-powered development tools for coding, debugging, test framework creation, and code quality improvements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with UI/UX design or testing and a record of shipping consumer products are preferred.
