Responsibilities
- Design, implement, operate, and continuously improve security controls across cloud and enterprise environments.
- Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, DevOps, and Compliance teams to embed security into system design and operations.
- Address cloud security, network security, AI security, IAM, and PAM requirements.
- Troubleshoot security and infrastructure issues across cloud, identity, networking, Kubernetes, and application environments.
- Implement and maintain security monitoring, detection, response, WAF, firewall, ingress, and related network security capabilities.
- Investigate incidents and support containment, remediation, root cause analysis, and follow-up improvements.
- Conduct security reviews, threat assessments, and architecture evaluations.
- Build automation using APIs, scripting, Infrastructure as Code, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Maintain security standards, guidelines, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Support security service operations, compliance initiatives, audits, and risk-reduction efforts.
- Design security guardrails for AI workloads and assess emerging AI security risks.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Security Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Cloud System Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud infrastructure and cloud security fundamentals, including AWS or GCP, IAM, networking, logging, security controls, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Understanding of cloud security principles, network security, modern security architectures, identity, authentication, authorization, SSO, and privileged access controls.
- Experience with security monitoring, logging, detection, incident response, infrastructure troubleshooting, and network security controls such as WAFs, firewalls, or ingress controls.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation technologies such as Terraform, Python, scripting, or APIs.
- Understanding of containerized and cloud-native environments such as Kubernetes.
- Exposure to security frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, or NIST.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, collaboration, ownership, and communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in SaaS or cloud-native organizations, large-scale distributed systems, security automation, audits, customer security reviews, regulatory compliance, relevant security or cloud certifications, mentoring, and security strategy development.
