Base Salary
$150k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Reverse-engineer software and firmware across multiple targets and architectures.
- Conduct vulnerability research and develop proof-of-concept exploits using fuzzing and dynamic analysis.
- Apply large language models and agentic systems to security research, analysis, and automation.
- Build machine-learning models to detect anomalous and malicious behavior in high-volume security and operational data.
- Prototype capabilities rapidly and mature promising concepts into hardened, deployable tools.
- Collaborate across the engineering team, mentor others, and help establish the technical direction for offensive cyber and AI work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong demonstrated reverse-engineering experience with tools such as Ghidra and IDA Pro, including compiled and stripped binaries.
- Assembly-language knowledge, including x86/x64 and ARM, plus strong Windows and Linux internals and debugging fundamentals.
- Experience finding and proving memory-corruption and logic flaws through vulnerability research, fuzzing, and dynamic analysis.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++.
- Applied AI/ML experience building and deploying real systems with PyTorch and modern open-source LLMs and tooling.
- Experience with embedded or firmware reverse engineering and emulation tooling is desired.
- Experience with agentic or tool-using AI workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, MLOps, Docker, Kubernetes, model-serving frameworks, or on-premises and edge deployment is desired.
- Prior government-sponsored offensive-cyber, vulnerability-research, or red-team experience is desired.
- Offensive-security certifications such as OSCP, OSED, GXPN, or GREM are desired.
- Active TS/SCI clearance is preferred; active SECRET clearance is the minimum, with ability and willingness to obtain higher access.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
