Responsibilities
- Create, execute, and maintain thorough test plans for product releases and features.
- Perform initial root-cause analysis of bugs using developer tools, network and console tabs, Google Cloud Platform server logs, and SQL analysis.
- Report detailed bugs and errors in Jira to help engineering identify and resolve issues.
- Help reproduce bugs reported externally.
- Execute extended and edge-case testing and use findings to evolve test plans.
- Work with development teams to keep test plans current as the product changes.
- Contribute to the existing automation framework by triaging and fixing failing tests and updating them for product changes.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in manual and automated testing of responsive web pages.
- Experience testing across different operating systems and browsers.
- Experience with Jira and Chrome Developer Tools for reporting and troubleshooting errors.
- Strong knowledge of web applications, test-plan execution, organization, analytical problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Experience working in agile teams with multiple product releases per week.
- Comfort working with Python or Java; exposure to REST APIs is a plus.
- Experience testing RBAC or permission models is a plus.
- Experience testing mobile applications is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- BE, BTech, or BSc in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
