Responsibilities
- Lead cloud and DevOps engineering initiatives with global engineering teams.
- Serve as a Lead DevOps/Cloud Engineer across one or more engineering pods.
- Advance and operate the Kubernetes platform to support growing business demand.
- Build and manage cloud environments for application deployments.
- Engineer solutions using infrastructure-as-code methods.
- Ensure operational, compliance, quality assurance, and remediation activities are completed.
- Maintain high platform availability and support continuous improvement and engineering best practices.
- Work with stakeholders and cross-functional IT teams to meet governance, project delivery, architecture, security, and service requirements.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS cloud environments.
- Experience operating large-scale platforms across build, test, deployment, monitoring, and alerting.
- Understanding of cloud migration complexities and building platforms at scale.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry such as financial services.
- Experience in Agile Scrum and DevOps environments, including knowledge of Jira or similar scrum management tools.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, stakeholder relationship-building, and customer focus.
