Base Salary
$388k - $558k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, test, and deploy robust full stack features for a consumer-facing Help Center serving tens of millions of visitors annually.
- Develop scalable frontend and backend services and integrate in-house systems with vendor solutions.
- Design platform abstractions and orchestrations that support high traffic and flexible integrations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, product stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Participate in an on-call rotation supporting production services.
- Contribute to reliability, operational excellence, and future Generative AI initiatives for customer service.
Requirements
- Solid experience with TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Solid experience with a modern UI framework such as React.
- Experience with A/B test experiments and event instrumentation.
- Experience with API technologies such as GraphQL, gRPC, and RES.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, database schema design, and modern design patterns.
- Preferred experience serving high-volume consumer-facing traffic and building WebView-based web applications.
- Preferred application-level experience with Generative AI or ML.
- Preferred experience with distributed systems, cloud deployment, AWS multi-region environments, customer support or account management domains, reliability, operational excellence, and UX fundamentals.
