Base Salary
$175k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own product features end-to-end from design through production.
- Build user-facing experiences with React and TypeScript.
- Design and ship backend services with Python and FastAPI.
- Design schemas and write non-trivial SQL against PostgreSQL.
- Operate production systems in a cloud environment using GCP.
- Improve testing, CI/CD, observability, development processes, and engineering practices.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering peers and contribute to code reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack experience with Python, FastAPI or similar, TypeScript, and React.
- Experience designing schemas and writing non-trivial SQL against relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Working knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Redis, queueing systems, or other modern production-stack technologies.
- Experience building and operating production systems in a cloud environment, specifically GCP.
- Clear written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience taking ownership in ambiguous, early-stage environments.
- Meaningful overlap with U.S. Eastern business hours during the workday.
- Preferred: experience in regulated environments and a security-minded design approach.
- Preferred: infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform.
