Responsibilities

  • Work across container and secrets products spanning public cloud, private cloud, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Architect and build tools and platforms that provide SRE capabilities.
  • Develop the SRE capability and promote SRE best practices across the wider organization.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and partner teams across Citi.
  • Own production-level incidents through resolution.
  • Advance engineering excellence, secure-by-design practices, observability, and toil reduction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Certification or formal training in site reliability engineering concepts and practices.
  • Experience working with SLIs, SLOs, and observability capabilities at large scale.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Python or Java on large-scale systems, alongside Linux-based scripting languages.
  • Experience with observability, logging, and metrics toolsets.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies such as Docker, OpenShift, and EKS.
  • Experience with public cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience with secrets products such as HashiCorp Vault or CyberArk.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organizational navigation, prioritization, and incident-management skills.
  • Experience working in CISO or security-led organizations is desirable but not essential.
