Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain ByteDance’s network traffic infrastructure while assuring system stability.
- Deliver, operate, and maintain production systems, including facility, component, and product delivery, changes, and releases.
- Design and implement stability-assurance systems covering observability, monitoring, alerts, logging, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, impact assessment, and issue resolution.
- Design and implement emergency-response systems for ticket processing, emergency response, risk governance, and long-term optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in R&D, system operation and maintenance, or SRE.
- Familiarity with infrastructure architecture and solid understanding of Kubernetes, edge computing, cloud networking, Load Balance, and microservice architecture.
- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, responsibility, and team spirit.
- Preferred: practical operations, maintenance, and stability-assurance experience with Kubernetes, cloud computing, edge computing, and cloud networking.
- Preferred: experience with high availability, stability assurance, emergency-response systems, and handling infrastructure or distributed-system risks, hazards, and failures.
