Responsibilities
- Define and maintain AUTOSAR Classic software architectures for automotive DC/DC Converter ECUs.
- Translate system requirements into software architectures, AUTOSAR software components, interfaces, and technical concepts.
- Define software components, ports, interfaces, runnable entities, task mappings, ECU communication concepts, and Application Software/RTE/BSW/MCAL interactions.
- Configure and integrate Vector DaVinci Developer, DaVinci Configurator, and MICROSAR BSW modules and stacks.
- Support RTE generation, BSW and ECU configuration workflows, and resolution of ARXML, integration, configuration, and generation issues.
- Define and support communication, network management, diagnostics, memory, AUTOSAR OS, ECU State Management, watchdog, cryptography, and security configuration.
- Support CAN/CAN-FD, UDS, and XCP communication and diagnostics.
- Drive architectural decisions involving real-time behavior, performance, memory, safety, and resource utilization.
- Support software integration, debugging, and complex cross-layer problem solving.
- Collaborate with System, Functional Safety, Hardware, BSW, Application Software, Integration, and Test teams.
- Ensure compliance with Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262 requirements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in automotive embedded software, including experience as an AUTOSAR Software Architect, AUTOSAR Expert, or Technical Lead.
- Strong expertise in AUTOSAR Classic and hands-on experience with the Vector AUTOSAR ecosystem.
- Practical experience with AUTOSAR configuration, ARXML handling, RTE generation, and BSW integration.
- Deep understanding of RTE, BSW, MCAL, AUTOSAR OS, communication, diagnostics, memory, and network-management stacks.
- Strong knowledge of CAN/CAN-FD and UDS, plus experience with complex AUTOSAR integration and configuration debugging.
- Strong understanding of Embedded C and real-time embedded systems.
- Understanding of Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, ASIL, and functional-safety software architecture requirements.
- Previous experience with DC/DC Converter products is required; experience with OBCs, inverters, BMS, or other e-Mobility and power-electronics ECUs is highly preferred.
- Understanding of power-electronics control software and its interaction with AUTOSAR.
- Knowledge of bootloaders, secure flashing, and automotive cybersecurity.
