Responsibilities
- Analyze system and software architecture trade-offs involving network topologies, functional safety, wake-up times, communication latencies, security, and power management.
- Perform hands-on prototyping across different automotive archetypes to evaluate partitioning and power and performance KPIs.
- Collaborate with NXP engineering and automotive architecture teams on architecture exploration, analysis, and execution.
- Define system and software architecture solutions for central and zonal CoreRide platforms.
- Deliver architecture specifications and support execution teams through feedback and convergence.
Requirements
- Experience defining and developing system and software architectures.
- Knowledge of automotive vehicle functions and software platforms spanning drivers through middleware.
- Strong software architecture skills for defining frameworks and components and understanding system, ECU, and vehicle interdependencies.
- At least 8 years of experience in the automotive market.
- History of engagement with automotive Tier 1 suppliers and/or OEMs.
- Experience with hardware, software, and system solutions enabling vehicle architecture evolution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills.
