Responsibilities
- Define and maintain software architectures for automotive Instrument Cluster and HUD ECUs.
- Design and integrate AUTOSAR Classic components, interfaces, and software-component dependencies across application, middleware, and BSW layers.
- Support AUTOSAR BSW configuration and integration for communication, diagnostics, memory, operating-system, and network-management functions.
- Define communication architectures using CAN, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, SOME/IP, UDS, and related vehicle networks.
- Translate system and software requirements into scalable architectural solutions.
- Support decisions involving performance, startup and boot time, functional safety, cybersecurity, and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with graphics/HMI, application, BSW, system engineering, and hardware teams.
- Support integration, debugging, performance analysis, and resolution of complex cross-component issues.
- Participate in architecture reviews and ensure compliance with ASPICE and automotive development processes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in automotive embedded software development, including experience as a Software Architect or Technical Lead.
- Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic, including AUTOSAR architecture, RTE, BSW, operating systems, communication stacks, and diagnostic stacks.
- Strong embedded C/C++ knowledge and experience defining software interfaces, component architectures, and ECU-level software concepts.
- Experience with CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, SOME/IP, and UDS automotive communication protocols.
- Knowledge of ASPICE, requirements engineering, and architecture documentation.
- Experience with EB tresos, DaVinci Developer/Configurator, CANoe/CANalyzer, Enterprise Architect, DOORS, or similar tools.
- Strong embedded software architecture, development, system-level debugging, and performance-analysis skills.
- Experience with automotive Instrument Cluster, Digital Cockpit, or Infotainment systems is preferred.
- Experience with Green Hills MULTI or INTEGRITY is preferred.
- Understanding of graphics and display architectures, including application/HMI software, graphics controllers, and AUTOSAR components.
- Experience with multi-core and multi-processor architectures, SoCs, and real-time systems.
- Knowledge of Linux and/or QNX used with AUTOSAR-based ECUs.
- Experience with Functional Safety and Automotive Cybersecurity.
- Experience with automotive SoC platforms from Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Renesas, NXP, or similar vendors.
- Understanding of cluster/HUD topics including fast boot, tell-tales, vehicle signals, display management, graphics performance, and safety-related visualization.
