Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain low-level system software for Arista’s networking platforms and EOS.
- Work closely with hardware and chip programming on the Platform team.
- Build software using state-oriented, publish-subscribe, multi-process system architecture.
- Support EOS software running across physical platforms, virtual machines, and containers.
- Contribute to networking software involving Linux, multithreading, software reliability, and automation integrations.
Requirements
- Strong engineering and computer science fundamentals.
- Extensive background in algorithms and strong software architecture skills.
- At least 5 years of fluency in one of C, C++, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with designs and implementations in a strong product-engineering environment.
