Responsibilities
- Develop low-level platform and system software for Arista’s EOS networking operating system.
- Work closely with hardware, ASICs, FPGAs, and embedded systems.
- Implement software involving state-oriented publish-subscribe communication, distributed systems, and multithreading.
- Build software that runs consistently across physical platforms, virtual machines, and containers.
- Support automation and testing workflows using integrations with network and infrastructure tools.
Requirements
- Strong engineering and computer science fundamentals.
- Extensive background in algorithms and strong software architecture skills.
- 5+ years of fluency in at least one of C, C++, or Python.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing software in a strong product-engineering environment.
