Responsibilities
- Lead technical direction and architecture for high-impact internal systems and services.
- Build integration platforms and interfaces connecting Clara teams and AI agents to the ClarOps backend.
- Set engineering quality standards through hands-on work, code reviews, and design reviews.
- Review product specifications for technical feasibility and identify opportunities to use AI tooling.
- Run sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and the team’s execution rhythm.
- Mentor engineers through pairing, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance.
- Drive cross-team problem-solving and architectural discussions.
- Apply AI tools to improve engineering speed and team workflows.
Requirements
- 7+ years of engineering experience, including experience serving as a senior technical voice on a team.
- Strong backend foundation in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience leading or guiding multidisciplinary teams, with sound judgment around frontend architecture and integration.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems using Kafka.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and modern development tooling.
- Technical product mindset with the ability to contribute proposals in roadmap and product discussions.
- English proficiency sufficient to lead technical discussions across geographies.
- High autonomy, proactivity, ownership, and initiative.
- Active interest in experimenting with AI tools and applying them to engineering work.
