Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional and non-functional requirements.
- Build and maintain automated test suites and a test automation framework from scratch.
- Perform manual exploratory, regression, and usability testing.
- Conduct API testing and develop end-to-end tests for critical user flows.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to provide product-quality feedback.
- Identify, document, and track defects using a bug-tracking system.
- Analyze test results and report on test coverage and quality metrics.
- Improve testing processes and evaluate new testing tools and technologies.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Proven experience with manual and automated testing of web applications.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Proficiency with an end-to-end test automation framework such as Playwright.
- Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, with TypeScript preferred.
- Experience with React and NestJS is highly desirable.
- Experience with testing tools relevant to React and NestJS applications, performance and load testing, security testing, and CI/CD integration in Azure DevOps is a plus.
