Responsibilities
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents and provide feedback.
- Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, automation strategies, and automated scripts.
- Plan, estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities.
- Perform continuous security, API, and regression testing.
- Identify, document, track, and report software defects.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
- Investigate causes of non-conforming software and collaborate with developers to improve software quality.
- Track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
- Support data and environment configuration and participate in code reviews.
- Stay current with testing tools and strategies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Test Management.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject, or comparable qualifications and experience.
- Proven experience in software development or software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and defect descriptions.
- ISTQB or related certification is preferred.
