Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain components within LME trading and market data systems.
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and support production stability.
- Prepare release materials, runbooks, and technical documentation.
- Participate in enhancement projects, requirements clarification, and testing activities.
- Collaborate with business, QA, infrastructure, and global LME/HKEX technology teams.
- Follow SDLC, change management, and IT security procedures.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of software development experience, including internships.
- Knowledge of Java, C++, or Python; Shell/Python scripting is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of trading systems, market data concepts, or financial technology is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Linux environments, networking basics, and Git version control.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, willingness to learn complex systems, communication skills, and ability to collaborate globally.
