Responsibilities
- Design and develop dependable, scalable, high-performance car rental indicative pricing and static information systems.
- Collaborate with teammates to design and implement car hire and flight systems.
- Continuously improve system design and architecture to simplify systems and maintain high service performance.
- Establish robust design and engineering principles and contribute to team success.
- Pursue continuous learning and exploration while developing into a foundational member of the growing team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related technical field.
- 1–2 years of experience in backend system development.
- Expertise in Java or Python programming languages.
- Experience with distributed computing, cloud computing technologies, Docker, and AWS.
- Experience with at least one relational or non-relational database and proficiency in SQL.
- Strong communication, collaboration, learning, and domain knowledge acquisition skills.
- Experience with Kubernetes is a bonus.
- Experience developing with frontend frameworks such as React is a bonus.
