Responsibilities
- Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient software applications and systems.
- Contribute to the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of complex software systems.
- Lead execution and delivery of features and projects while managing priorities, deadlines, and quality.
- Participate in architectural design and design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code, provide technical feedback, and uphold coding, observability, testing, and maintainability standards.
- Build testable software and automate tests using tools such as JUnit and Selenium.
- Maintain service health and quality, investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and implement preventive measures.
- Work in a DevOps model across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and production maintenance.
- Document new features, enhancements, and fixes and contribute to training materials.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate effectively with product management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4–8 years of professional software development experience.
- Deep expertise in one or more of C, C++, C#, .NET, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with software development practices and design patterns.
- Proficiency with GitHub and JIRA.
- Understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles.
- Preferred experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Preferred familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and test automation frameworks.
- Preferred knowledge of agile development methodologies and accessible technology development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative work.
