Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable cloud and platform infrastructure for greenfield AI-driven clinical authoring products.
- Automate infrastructure and cloud services using Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting.
- Implement security, monitoring, logging, metrics, tracing, and end-to-end observability for production submission pipelines.
- Manage complex production infrastructures, Kubernetes environments, cloud networking, and large workloads.
- Support data and ML workloads, including vector databases, GPU-backed Kubernetes nodes, and MLOps/LLMOps pipelines.
- Identify organizational process gaps, introduce external DevOps best practices, and improve troubleshooting and operational effectiveness.
- Mentor junior engineers, share technical knowledge, and collaborate with stakeholders across teams.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing large workloads and products in production across traditional and cloud application architectures, including serverless, Kubernetes, and cloud database services.
- Proven experience mentoring junior engineers, fostering collaboration, and navigating group dynamics.
- Experience identifying company-level gaps in Agile and DevOps practices and implementing external best practices.
- Advanced knowledge of at least one programming language, especially Python or JavaScript, and strong terminal, scripting, networking, and process-monitoring skills.
- High proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, Docker, Git, CI/CD platforms, monitoring, logging, metrics, and tracing tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, including virtual networks, subnets, routing, DNS, firewalls or security groups, load balancers, and private connectivity.
- Familiarity with GxP compliance, Computer Systems Validation, or automated compliance testing in CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience supporting data or ML workloads, such as vector databases, GPU-backed Kubernetes nodes, or MLOps/LLMOps pipelines.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, continuous improvement, and complex troubleshooting abilities.
