Base Salary
$160k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own technical strategy and execution for complex, high-visibility customer deployment implementations, including first-of-kind application onboardings and multi-agency or multi-enclave rollouts.
- Serve as the senior subject matter expert on Second Front products and create enablement materials and technical playbooks for Implementation Engineers.
- Improve onboarding and customer support processes through tooling, documentation, and automation.
- Lead onboarding of customer applications into Game Warden for security scanning, including legacy architectures, unusual dependency chains, and non-standard compliance postures.
- Architect and configure customer deployments across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Resolve escalations, coach Implementation Engineers, and diagnose novel technical problems.
- Represent Second Front technically with senior customer stakeholders and program managers.
- Partner with Product, Platform Engineering, and Sales leadership to translate implementation insights into platform improvements.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or implementation/deployment engineering, including ownership of complex production-grade deployments.
- Advanced Linux installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, hardening, and support experience for on-premises hardware at scale.
- Deep knowledge of DevSecOps tooling and practices and experience building or maturing implementation and onboarding processes.
- Strong communication skills and experience leading high-stakes technical conversations with senior customer stakeholders.
- Demonstrated mentorship and technical leadership of engineers, including serving as an escalation point.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving integration friction between legacy customer systems and modern software stacks.
- DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance eligibility is required; active or interim clearance is strongly preferred.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
