Base Salary
$107k - $161k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, implement, and support new or revised application systems and programs.
- Develop and contribute to Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and microservices solutions.
- Analyze existing application systems, identify complexity and implementation risks, and contribute to high- and low-level system design.
- Conduct design, code, and technical documentation reviews while ensuring adherence to Citi engineering standards.
- Mentor developers, organize review activities, and take responsibility for successful solution delivery.
- Communicate with clients, business stakeholders, and project teams regarding requirements, technical ideas, and development progress.
- Contribute to software architecture, development-process, operating-standard, and technology improvements.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in applications development or systems analysis.
- Expert hands-on knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and the Spring Framework stack.
- Deep understanding of microservices best practices and patterns, with Spring Boot microservices preferred.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB and experience with Git and Jira.
- Good understanding of Kafka is highly desirable.
- Strong systems analysis, design, architecture, unit testing, and other SDLC experience.
- Experience with UI programming, successful project implementation, leadership, and project management.
- Ability to work with limited direct supervision, adjust priorities, and communicate clearly with business and technical stakeholders.
