Base Salary
$125k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop new logic components for FPGAs.
- Implement custom signal-processing algorithms on FPGAs.
- Implement custom controllers on FPGAs.
- Collaborate with software engineers to develop embedded Linux applications that interface with FPGA logic components.
- Package and use IP components in FPGA block diagram designs.
- Work with development boards and in production environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science.
- Hands-on electrical experience from internships or engineering clubs such as FSAE, Baja SAE, solar car, rocket club, or robotics club.
- Experience developing in VHDL or Verilog.
- Preferred experience with Xilinx Zynq Ultrascale+ MPSoC and familiarity with the Xilinx Vivado/Vitis toolchain.
- Preferred embedded software experience, including embedded Linux and System on Chip architectures.
- Preferred experience with heterogeneous computing platforms and high-speed data acquisition systems.
- Familiarity with C/C++ or other high-level programming languages.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to apply first-principles reasoning to complex problems.
