Base Salary

$125k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop software for an advanced, production-scale metal 3D-printing factory.
  • Collaborate with process, control, and mechanical engineers to integrate control algorithms into production software.
  • Improve and scale high-rate data acquisition, storage, and retrieval systems.
  • Implement processes that convert customer part geometries into machine print instructions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering from an ABET-accredited university or college.
  • Internship or engineering club experience involving programming with C, C++, or Rust.
  • Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree in computer science or computer engineering.
  • Preferred experience includes interfacing with microcontrollers, FPGA, or GPU computing hardware; developing embedded or real-time software; and building software for industrial automation, rockets, spacecraft, robotics, or related hardware.
  • Preferred experience includes working in a Linux or RTOS environment.
  • Candidates should demonstrate collaboration, communication, ownership, initiative, resilience, and strong problem-solving ability.
