Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a flexible, adaptive, and stable front-end platform for streaming applications.
- Optimize front-end performance and reliability using industry-standard practices.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver strong user experiences.
- Develop and test software across browsers, TVs, set-top boxes, gaming consoles, and other physical devices.
- Share expertise with colleagues and the wider industry while contributing to innovation at DAZN.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience as a JavaScript developer across at least five commercial projects.
- Professional front-end development experience and strong knowledge of browsers.
- Strong experience with vanilla TypeScript/JavaScript and HTML5/CSS, plus knowledge of modern UI frameworks such as React.
- Experience with cross-platform development for TVs, set-top boxes, and gaming consoles.
- Knowledge of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing techniques and frameworks.
- Experience with build tools, cloud computing services, distributed applications, and preferably AWS.
- Experience with on-device development, platform-specific debugging, device SDKs, BDD, TDD, software design patterns, and Git.
- Experience developing with JavaScript or HTML5 for TVs, set-top boxes, and game consoles.
- Expertise with TV or game-console SDKs such as webOS, Tizen, or PlayStation, and general knowledge of STB/HWA development.
- Intermediate English communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
