Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance and operate solutions for Client Lifecycle Management processes including onboarding, KYC, ongoing client reviews and approval workflows.
  • Design and implement scalable workflow-driven backend services using Java and Spring Boot, including RESTful APIs and integrations.
  • Develop relational data models and persistence layers using SQL and JPA/Hibernate while ensuring data integrity, performance, auditability and data retention.
  • Contribute to component-based user interfaces using TypeScript and Web Components.
  • Analyse and resolve incidents, defects and issues across backend services, databases and integrations.
  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into sustainable technical solutions with stakeholders and domain experts.
  • Own features and technical decisions, contribute to architecture and engineering practices, and support quality, security and compliance through testing, reviews and CI/CD processes.

Requirements

  • Several years of software development experience with Java and Spring Boot, including RESTful API and integration design and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including data modelling, schema design, transactions, indexing and query optimisation, plus JPA/Hibernate experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD workflows and automated build, test and deployment processes.
  • Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Frontend experience with TypeScript, Web Components and API-driven modular user interfaces is preferred.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging and alerting tools and production-oriented troubleshooting is welcome.
  • Experience with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or Jenkins is relevant; Argo CD and AWS, Azure or GCP experience is advantageous.
  • Experience with Flowable, Avaloq Static Data or AMI Web Service, and knowledge of CLM, KYC/AML or banking, are advantageous.
  • A structured, solution-oriented and collaborative way of working is expected.
