Base Salary

$108k - $195k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of security practices within DevOps pipelines for DoD applications.
  • Evaluate and integrate security tools into CI/CD workflows.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and penetration testing.
  • Develop secure coding practices, incident response plans, and security training with cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Automate security testing and compliance processes using infrastructure and security automation tools.
  • Assess, design, develop, test, and implement Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery solutions.
  • Administer hybrid cloud infrastructure, operating systems, networks, containers, and DevSecOps toolchains.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI before starting.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience or master’s degree with 6+ years of experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
  • DoD 8140 intermediate certification or DoD 8570 IAM Level II certification or higher.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code, security tooling, hybrid cloud environments, containers, and automated provisioning.
  • Experience with relational databases, Linux and Windows administration, network administration, cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure cloud services.
  • Preferred qualifications include Air Force Life Cycle Management Center experience, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certification, CISSP or Certified DevSecOps Engineer certification, enterprise DevSecOps toolchain experience, container security, OWASP/NIST compliance, and work in high-security or air-gapped environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and independent-working skills.
