Base Salary

$120k - $180k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and operate robust, scalable software systems and security automation tools for Product Security.
  • Develop applications, APIs, and frameworks supporting software supply chain security, AI-powered vulnerability discovery, and global multi-cloud visibility.
  • Partner with Product Security teams on tooling strategy, risk assessments, and architectural deep dives.
  • Own SRE excellence, CI/CD, and datastore operations for mission-critical security services.
  • Implement performance monitoring and response processes to support critical security responses.

Requirements

  • Experience in a Software Engineering role involving event-driven systems, data ingestion pipelines, internal automation tools, or internal monitoring tools.
  • Experience developing with Golang, Python, React, Angular, and/or TypeScript.
  • In-depth understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containers, software cryptographic signing, and open-source software dependencies.
  • Experience with data engineering and datastore or queue operations, including OpenSearch, Valkey, Postgres, Kafka, or SQS, and production ownership of system health, capacity, maintenance, and technology selection.
  • Experience managing the end-to-end software development life cycle from design through delivery, with stakeholder engagement and focus on mission outcomes.
  • Experience using Generative AI as a productivity tool and creating services that leverage large language models.
  • Experience with configuration management and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Chef, Salt, or Puppet.
  • Experience in a Product Security role; SaaS company experience is a strong bonus.
  • Broad awareness of cybersecurity landscapes, adversaries, attack modes, and tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Experience monitoring or analyzing application and infrastructure telemetry data.
  • Experience in Security Operations and/or Incident Response.
  • Experience with cloud-scale, business-critical Linux environments.
  • Experience operating in cloud environments, preferably AWS or GCP.
