Responsibilities

  • Design, document, and execute test cases for Keeper backend services and RESTful APIs.
  • Validate MySQL queries, schema changes, stored procedures, and data integrity.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on backend components.
  • Use tools like Postman and REST Assured to validate API behavior and automate tests.
  • Test system performance, scalability, and fault tolerance in cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers and product managers to resolve issues.
  • Track and manage test tickets in Jira and document QA processes in Confluence.
  • Contribute to continuous integration pipelines by integrating automated test suites.
  • Ensure QA efforts align with Keeper’s security-first and compliance-driven standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of QA or software testing experience with a focus on backend/API testing.
  • Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries and validating relational data.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman and REST Assured.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks for backend and service-level testing.
  • Experience testing distributed, cloud-hosted systems, preferably AWS.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot backend service issues.
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to involvement in GovCloud.
