Base Salary
$145k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation pipelines that streamline operational, validation, and engineering workflows.
- Analyze business and operational requirements and translate manual processes into scalable technical solutions.
- Integrate and consolidate data from databases, APIs, work tracking systems, spreadsheets, and other enterprise data sources.
- Build software solutions that ingest, normalize, validate, and report on operational and telemetry-related data.
- Develop reusable validation frameworks, quality checks, and reporting components for multiple workflows.
- Automate manual review and approval processes while maintaining human oversight.
- Create reliable scripts, services, and tools with robust logging and error handling.
- Produce technical specifications, implementation plans, and supporting documentation.
- Enhance and maintain existing automation tools to meet evolving business needs.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system validation activities.
- Troubleshoot issues across modern and legacy systems and implement long-term solutions.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure automation outputs are accurate and effective.
- Support the development of reporting pipelines and data quality verification processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience using Python, C#, PowerShell, or similar languages.
- 3+ years of experience building automation pipelines and backend tools.
- 3+ years of experience with structured and semi-structured data sources.
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and maintainable coding practices.
- Experience integrating with databases, APIs, and operational data sources.
- Experience developing validation frameworks and automated reporting solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in production environments.
- Experience creating and executing unit tests and validation plans.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Experience with AI-enabled tools or solutions.
