Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and support production-grade AI/ML, generative AI, intelligent automation, LLM, RAG, and agentic solutions.
- Translate user requirements into technical designs, APIs, workflows, and supportable implementation patterns.
- Build and integrate LLM, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic solution components into enterprise applications and platforms.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and remediate AI and agentic systems across retrieval, orchestration, generation, integration, and production-support layers.
- Use Python and software engineering best practices to create modular, production-quality LLM pipelines and agentic applications.
- Support project delivery through estimation, documentation, status communication, risk identification, design reviews, and trade-off analysis.
- Build model observability pipelines for agentic reasoning traces, output degradation, and behavioral drift in production.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, data, architecture, development, and project leadership teams.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree is required.
- At least 2 years of related work experience, including meaningful applied AI/ML engineering experience, is required.
- Hands-on experience building production-grade LLM applications, RAG systems, agentic systems, and intelligent automation solutions is required.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with structured and unstructured data preparation, curation, and quality validation are required.
- Experience with APIs, event-driven workflows, containerization, cloud deployment, testing, versioning, and operationalization of AI systems is required.
- Preferred qualifications include model observability, tracing, degradation detection, behavioral drift monitoring, and tools such as LangSmith, Arize, Datadog, and Azure Monitor.
- Preferred qualifications include LLM fine-tuning, instruction tuning, preference optimization, LoRA, QLoRA, PEFT, and NeMo Framework.
- Preferred qualifications include responsible AI, bias and fairness evaluation, human-in-the-loop design, explainability, data pipelines, and cloud ML platforms.
- Preferred qualifications include traditional AI/ML and deep learning fundamentals such as supervised and unsupervised learning, feature engineering, model evaluation, neural networks, and training trade-offs.
- Candidates should communicate complex AI system behavior and trade-offs clearly, demonstrate ownership, adapt to changing requirements and technologies, and collaborate cross-functionally.
Benefits
- Base salary is $65,500 to $134,000 across US geographic locations and $78,600 to $152,100 in New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California excluding Sacramento.
