Base Salary
$143k - $274k/yr
Responsibilities
- Consult with data scientists and business partners on ML model development and implementation approaches.
- Lead the full machine learning engineering lifecycle, including solution design, data pipeline engineering, testing, deployment, scheduling, application integration, API development, and production support.
- Design and implement complex machine learning, artificial intelligence, and GenAI solutions, including proofs of concept and prototypes.
- Configure and manage AI/ML infrastructure components in AWS, GCP, and on-premises environments.
- Influence ML implementation patterns, provide technical feedback, mentor team members, and help set technical direction.
- Monitor and control risks associated with business activities in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant education and/or experience.
- At least six years of machine learning engineering, data engineering, or software development experience implementing data solutions, including two years of technical leadership experience and/or leading teams.
- Extensive programming experience with Python, Java, or R and extensive data engineering experience.
- Experience delivering end-to-end machine learning and AI/GenAI solutions, including building, integrating, and optimizing data pipelines and curating and modeling data.
- Experience leveraging ML Ops principles and implementing automated workflows.
- Knowledge of data science principles, stochastic modeling, machine learning, and advanced mathematical techniques.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and mentor junior technical team members.
- Expert knowledge of at least one cloud platform and relevant components, such as AWS SageMaker.
